Sudbury had produced many winning baseball teams and the trend continued in 1969 and 1974 with intermediate level wins in provincial competitions.
Baseball continues to be a favoured pastime for Sudbury women and is still one of the most popular sports in the community. As with hockey, Sudbury's female ballplayers are extremely competitive and dedicated to their sport. The hard work and determination put forth by women players all over Canada is what makes the sport such a joy to watch.
