The Capreol Curling Club was originally housed in the Capreol Community Centre along with the skating rink. When the building was destroyed by fire, a new curling rink was quickly built. Early members of this sport included Alex Nepitt, Fred Mohns, and Reverend McBrien.
Nepitt donated a trophy cup to the curling competitions, a cup which his team frequently won in tournaments against Sudbury's curling teams.
Over the years, Capreol has won many prestigious curling championships, including the Northern Ontario Association's President Cup. Today, curling continues to be a favoured pastime for local curling enthusiasts.
